​Scholarship Criteria and Mentorship Program
In order to be awarded a scholarship from the HEON Project, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a Grenadian national residing in any of the parishes, including Carriacou and Petite Martinique
- Applicants show evidence of admissions (application) to the T. A Marryshow Community College or skill center in which he/she intends to pursue studies
- Applicants from Carriacou & Petite Martinique may be given the assistance, on the condition that he/she will be pursuing studies in Grenada where the area of study is not offered in Carriacou.
- Applicants must come from a low income household with an annual income not exceeding $21,000.00
- Applicants whose annual income exceeds $21,000.00 must show evidence of financial need. (e. g monthly payments)
- Applicants already enrolled at the T. A Marryshow community college or a skill center may apply for transportation allowance where the need arises.
- Applicants applying to T. A Marryshow Community College must possess a minimum of five (5) CXC passes, including English.
- Applicants must be involved in a community/youth/church, or sport organization, unless he or she is physically challenged/ disabled.
- Applicants must submit an essay of no less than 500 words, stating his/her career plans and passion for the area applied for.
- Applicants may be given transportation allowance, based upon the committee’s recommendation and the applicant’s financial need.
- The assistance will be given to students pursuing studies at the following institutions;
- T. A Marryshow Community College; St. George’s campus, Sauteurs campus, St. Andrew’s campus
- New Life Organization
- National Training Agency
